Aotearoa People's Network

APNK for Ashburton

The People's Network spread even wider this week with a successful installation at Ashburton Public Library in Mid-Canterbury. The people of Ashburton now have the use of 8 free PCs and wifi. A PC control system has also been installed which will make managing any queues (the APNK service is usually pretty popular) easier for both staff and their customers.

Glen reports that the installation went well and that the Ashburton Library staff were very pleased to be able to offer this service and keen to learn about it (and that there are plenty of seating options for wifi users).
